About Admissions

§   All admissions will be granted in the order of merit.

§  College prospectus containing admission forms will be available at the SSR Memorial Trust’s administration office. 

§ Students seeking admission need to submit the duly filled admission forms along with the following documents:

• Four recent Passport size photographs including one photo affixed on the admission form
• Attested copy of the mark-sheet of the last passed/appeared examination
• Original Migration Certificate/School Leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate along with two attested copies of the same
• Character Certificate
• Passing Certificates
• Caste Certificate in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories
• Attendance Certificate
• Gap Certificate ( if applicable)

§  Students seeking admission to the First Year must also apply for (Pune) University Eligibility Certificate and pay the necessary fees.

§  Every student seeking admission to the first year will have to undergo a medical check up by the authorized medical officer.

§  Note: The application for the eligibility will be forwarded to the University only after a valid medical certificate is produced.

§  A student will be granted provisional admission by the college and which will be confirmed only on the receipt of the eligibility certificate from the university.

§  Subjects once assigned as per students’ choice will not be changed later.

§  In case the students have any difficulty regarding the selection of the subject details to be filled in the forms they should seek help from the Admission Committee.

§  Fees are accepted only in the form of Demand Drafts drawn in favour of “SSR College of Arts, Commerce & Science” payable at Silvassa. Cash payment is not accepted.

§ The candidate cancelling a confirmed admission will be entitled to the refund of fees after the following deductions as applicable, except otherwise prescribed by the government, university or other competent authority.
